Hydrafacial treatments offer a comprehensive skincare experience through a combination of 7 distinct procedures. This multifaceted approach begins with hydradermabrasion, a technique that exfoliates and cleanses the skin to reveal a fresher layer beneath. The sonic skin scrubber further enhances this process by using high-frequency vibrations to remove impurities and dead skin cells. RF skin tightening is then employed to promote collagen production, leading to firmer and more youthful-looking skin. LED face mask is utilised to address specific skin concerns, such as redness, acne, or ageing, by using light therapy to promote overall skin health and rejuvenation

 

The treatment incorporates ultrasound (sonophoresis), which enhances the absorption of specialised ingredients delivered in single-use ampoules. This allows the active components to penetrate deeply into the dermis, maximising their effectiveness for your specific skin needs. These active concentrates are designed on the basis of the latest achievements in the field of cosmetology, inspired by aesthetic medicine treatments. Please note that this treatment is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for those with epilepsy, diabetes, or a heart condition. Nor can it be used on anyone who has braces, major dental work, or other metal in their body, such as metal implants, body piercings, or a pacemaker,  lupus or scleroderma, clients with inflamed acne, couperosis skin, or active pustules.  This treatment can cause adverse reactions to those allergic to aspirin, shellfish, or sulfur. PRE-TREATMENT ADVICE

  • Two days prior to treatment, discontinue using all alpha hydroxy acid products (those containing glycolic or lactic acid), salicylic acid products, retinoids (Retin A, Renova, Differin and Tazorac) and other topical acne medications such as benzoyl peroxide. 

  • Avoid sun tanning or tanning creams/sprays for at least 72 hours.

  • ​Always seek medical advice for those who have medical conditions to see if this treatment is suitable

The following procedures should not be performed for a minimum of 7 days before:

  • Waxing

  • Tweezing

  • Electrolysis

  • Injectables (including Collagen & BOTOX) 30 days

  • Facials (any kind)

  • Refrain from any type of exfoliating treatments to the area of treatment for 48 hours.

  • Refrain from any chemical peels, resurfacing and laser treatments for one month.

  • If you are prone to cold sores, HydraFacial may cause a breakout. Please use medication 2 days before, during, and 2 days after.

  • Accutane within one year
