Nor can it be used on anyone who has braces, major dental work, or other metal in their body, such as metal implants, body piercings, or a pacemaker,  lupus or scleroderma, clients with inflamed acne, couperosis skin, or active pustules.

PRE-TREATMENT ADVICE

• Two days prior to treatment, discontinue using all alpha hydroxy acid products (those containing glycolic or lactic acid), salicylic acid products, retinoids (Retin A, Renova, Differin and Tazorac) and other topical acne medications such as benzoyl peroxide. 

• Avoid sun tanning or tanning creams/sprays for at least 72 hours.

• ​Always seek medical advice for those who have medical conditions to see if this treatment is suitable

The following procedures should not be performed for a minimum of 7 days before:

• Waxing

• Tweezing

• Electrolysis

• Injectables (including Collagen & BOTOX) 30 days

• Facials (any kind)

• Refrain from any type of exfoliating treatments to the area of treatment for 48 hours.

• Refrain from any chemical peels, resurfacing and laser treatments for one month.

• Accutane within one year
